I have demonstrated expertise in gender mainstreaming in Project Planning and Management with emphasis on Programme development, Results-Based Management, Knowledge Management, Outcome Mapping and Logical and Result Frameworks. I've proven expertise in the design, conduct and analysis of research using qualitative and quantitative approaches in disciplinary and trans-disciplinary contexts including Social, Economic, Health and Political Research.

Over time I have demonstrated competence in developing Training curriculum and manuals, project proposals with Results and Logical Frameworks and concept papers that address both international and corporate organizations’ interests. Also an expert in institutional assessment for strategic planning for Parliamentary Caucuses and Civil Society Organisations and a certified Trainer on Devolved Funds Management and Social Accountability

Some of my notable policy projects include leading in the development of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Gender and Development Policies for 5 sub-national governments in Kenya; Contributing to the development of the Gender Responsive Guidelines for the Parliamentary Budget Office and County Governments; Development of the Reproductive Health handbook for Parliamentarians; review of the various policies including the National Policy on Women Economic Empowerment in Kenya.

I have worked with national and local policymakers, developing evidence-based and gender integrated policies and plans. I have extensive experience on programs and projects with a focus on inclusion and diversity, project planning and management, specifically through human rights-based approaches to programming, results-based management, and outcome mapping.
